I’ve written tens of thousands of words about wine, oysters, cheese and the ups and downs of the restaurant business—but I've also covered supply chains, energy, tech, and crime. I’ve been an award-winning dining critic at Newsday and Seven Days; chased F+B stories around the globe; wrote a book about colonial-era drinking; and wrangle data and LLMs for publications and brands.

Copy + Ghostwriting
I leverage content design and storytelling techniques to bring place and brand stories to life, from must-open newsletters and blog posts to pitch decks and landing pages. I’ve also ghostwritten editorials, guest posts, and copy for leaders in the food and wine space.

I refine and refresh content to boost visibility, engagement, and meaningful traffic. By blending smart keyword strategies, on-page SEO, and thoughtful restructuring, I ensure content stays both search-and reader-friendly—while keeping pace with ever-changing algorithms.
Conversation Design + AI Agents
I crafted culinary and travel content for one of the earliest LLMs, fine-tuning edge cases and ensuring the proper use of industry language. That work evolved into designing conversational AI agents for media and destinations, blending editorial precision with an intuitive grasp of user intent. I also restructure and enrich content to boost retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) performance, applying markup strategies that enhance LLM-based search results and improve content accuracy and relevance.
