The next bite is always waiting

...around the back, on the other side of town, in a neighborhood or bistro or bar you may have never heard of before.

I’m Corin Hirsch, a Vermont-based writer and visual storyteller with a spidey sense for enchanted places, dishes, and drinks.

I’m Corin Hirsch, a Vermont-based writer and storyteller with a sixth sense for extraordinary places, dishes, drinks, and people hiding in plain sight.

What I do

In the age of niching down, I’m a creative generalist—a designer who can edit, a writer who art directs, and a content strategist who can optimize stories, visualize data, and build campaigns.
  • Writing + Editing

I’m a relentless researcher and insightful interviewer who can nail stories quickly, accurately, and on deadline. Food, drink, and travel writing are my longtime wheelhouses, but I’ve also covered energy, climate, health care, governance, commerce, and scores of other topics.

  • Ghostwriting

I leverage content design and storytelling techniques to bring place and brand stories to life, from must-open newsletters and blog posts to pitch decks and landing pages. I’ve also ghostwritten editorials, guest posts, and copy for leaders in the food and wine space.

  • Infographic Design

I craft data into compelling visual narratives that tell stories in powerful ways. Scraping, cleaning, plotting, visualization — I love it all. Check out a few here.

  • SEO/GSO + Content Updates

I refine and refresh content to boost visibility, engagement, and meaningful traffic through both traditional web search and searches initiated through LLMs. By blending keyword strategy, on-page SEO, markup, and restructuring, I ensure content stays both search-and reader-friendly while keeping pace with ever-changing algorithms.

Say hi!

Whether you’re a reader or potential collaborator, I’d love to hear from you. (I also publish a monthly newsletter, Pouring Inn, that explores public houses, third places, and belonging.)
